I was looking around and found this:
http://www.visracing.com/oldcatalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_263_2310&products_id=5331
Under the 05-08 Tacoma it shows a CF hood for the X-Runner, but when you click it, it says 01-04 Toyota Tacoma 2dr, X Runner Carbon Fiber Hood.
No X-Runners in 01-04... Hmmmmm:hmmmm2:

They just added it to the catalog 2 or 3 days ago. Prolly just entered the wrong year when they put it on the site.

I had a VIS one on my civic. Perfect fit and no hood pins. They have to reccommend it because iof the lightness of the hoods.

That's awesome:rock: Too bad it requires hood pins. Hopefully they will make one that is a bolt on and latches using the stock hardware. I would get one if it did that.

Might want to verify though bc there are CF and fiberglass hoods that don't have the support to properly use the stock latch assemblies. It would suck spending all that money only to find that the hood has to be used with hood pins.

I'm in the same boat as many of the other members. I'm curious to see what it would actually look like on the XR first.
