open can of worms now....

youll get alot of different opinions, and alot of them bias ones. (mine included).

at the same boost level, both have put down about the same numbers so far.

its all in what sound you like. whine or woosh :top:

from my experience, the URD us a little easier to upgrade and is fully tunable to other bolt-ons, but the TRD has shown good results adapting to bolts ons with the reflash

Both are really nice kits, I like my trd one. I have also ridden in a URD sc'ed x w/ 80mm pulley, header exhaust all that good stuff and was really impressed. either way you go you will love it

MIGHT be getting the TRD S/C in June or July and i will just get the URD pulley to put on it. Thats what i would recommend. Close to the same hp #'s and you keep your warranty

technically the pulley voids it, but who will pay attention to that

Well that is true. that red thing might stick out a little. Could just put the stock one back on when something happens

Dont make any marks in the stock pulley, buy a blower before TRD starts tamper proofing them further!

Cost of TRD Blower 3900.00, Cost of shiny red URD Pulley and puller 175.00, Cost of Meth injection 400.00, Cost of an intake 2-400.00.

Thats a lot of stuff for under 5,000 bucks.

You will be happy with either one, just get boosted!

Don't you sass me boy.

lol its a lot easier to justify a blown motor that has a "stock" TRD supercharger on it then it is to justify a N/A one.

Don't make me git' the hose.

I am glad this tread came up.

I've been thinking also which way to go on a Blower. I know both are good, and put down some good #'s. Thats y its all comes down to price at the time, when am ready.
