Look like the belt jump a groove.
In your first pic, the belt is in the correct position. 3rd pic, AC compressor, your belt has jump back (toward to rear) a groove. Its getting shred hanging off the edge. Same with your 4th pic, power steering pump. Your alternator seems to be correct. Where is the belt on the crank pulley?

TRD guys FYI if you hear a slapping sound stop immediatly, be prepaired to cut the belt off. if the belt starts to unravel it can rip the wires off the coolant sensor.

No I stopped in time, but i had nothing to cut the belt with, so i just kept pulling on the broken section and it just kept unraveling until it was about 10 feet long. u could see where it was hitting the wires, but i pulled over within 40 feet of when it started slapping.
I now carry a spare belt and the tools to change it. don't even attempt to try to use the tensioner drive to relax the belt, get it on all the pulleys except the top idler, then pull on the belt and slip it over the idler, much much easier.

If you have a slapping problem try reverse cowgirl.....LOL

I guess if you dont have room under the seat for a belt and ratchet??:bird:

Defensive are we?

You do know that TRD systems have thrown a lot more belts than URD, right?

Well, there might be a few more TRD systems out there so I guess that is fair...

Gadget

Geez....so you gonna hand deliver new belts out to every URD guy here like David?

Throwing an ocasional belt is just part of running any supercharger. If you go supercharged TRD or URD just carry an extra belt.

OMG!!!!! :stupid: C'mon Fellas, I was just teasing David....

Santa himself did feel bad, but he is not hand delivering it...He has with other things in the past; even on July 4th, which shows what type of person he is!!!...plus I'm not that far away from him...

But he is personally making sure one of his elves brings me a new one tomorrow:biggrin:

nightrider: wow bro that's the first i hear of this happening. at least your getting the belt delivered...hopefully you won't have this problem again. that could just be normal wear and tear on the belt...but at the same time it might have been a defect and just never knew it

I wouldn't worry about it to much, just watch the new one carefully the first few hundred miles for any rubbing or abnormal wear.

Damn that was quick.......new belt just showed up:rockon:

BTW, since my truck is at home, and I usually dont do any of the maintence work because my techs here at my job do....I honestly dont know which pulley is the one that will make the belt loose?...if possible, a diagram would be great:laugh:

the best for me has been the trd unit with the urd pulley.. (although if I did it again I'd just go urd staight up)

If it does, I'll gladly take the TRD off your hands!:top:

LMAO...a URD riot:laugh:....

:eviltongue:...I'm pretty lazy...besides, if you worked at a dealership, how much maintence would you actually do to your truck??? (well nevermind...knowing you DS, you probably would still do it all:laugh:)

So which is the tension pulley??:hmmmm2:

excellent:rockon:...Thank you sir!!!...smartass

I can install a S/C and put on DTLT headers, but taking off a belt gives me trouble:smile:
