So yesterday i pulled off that black plastic piece off the front bumper under the license plate...after i got it all back together i realized there was a little bit of a gap from were that plastic strip was...is there a standard fix for this with some rubber seal like used on the rest of the ground fx?

You have two options, you can order the black ground effects molding and use it to fill the gap and it will also match all the other ones.

Part #: 75696-04040
Description: pad, body outside moulding, no.1
Should be less than $10

Option 2 is to cut the black piece you removed leaving enough to fill the gap.

:motz:howz that... they didnt even give me that option...

Its not a piece made for the front, it the one for the side skirt and you'll have to cut it to size but it works perfectly.

that doesn't look to hard. Ill have to remind the body shop to fix that for me. They are taking the plastic piece off for my new paint job.

I got ahold of some sticky backed foam pads that are about 1/2 thick and they fit perfectly...they take up the space lost by removing that black junk...all thats left is waitin for the rubber strip for the gap between the two pieces. Thanks to all who posted for helpin make my X look good the right way.
