oh oh right.
my bad, it was 10 seconds. I forgot how to count there for a minute:stupid:
we never did a 60-100, so I really dont know.
We did several 0-1xx but we werent trying to see how fast we could get there, we were just going fast...lol, does that make sense
I didnt realize you all needed to know exactly how fast it was
in my videos that i posted and didnt post, there was no 60-100...theres a few 0-100+, but he was shifting into 3rd at 65mph and wasnt shifting all that fast...losing at least 2 seconds there
in those 65-100 moments it was 4.2 seconds. But at the elevation we were at he wasnt able to get the 10 psi that gave him 422rwhp. you also need to know that the other people posting their 60-100's didnt have passenger's, a bed cover, or a bunch of equipment in the bed and all of them were at much lower elevations...take that weight out and go to sea level and 60-100 in 3.99 is def possible
I know you guys really want to know if the TRD cant beat the URD, but my answer is still "I dont know"
Gadget is the only truck with the MKII that Ive been able to see, and he isnt a racecar driver. So give him and me a break please, and just wait until some more people get it
But if I had to guess, I would say that Gadget truck is capable of mid to high 12's.
The main point here, is that his truck is FUN to drive, and its very fast.
No one said its not fast, I bet she scoots.
No one said anything about TRD vs. it (not even going there lol).
No one said she wasn't a blast to drive.
Just commented on how fast 60-100 in 3 seconds is (I now learned that is Bugatti veyron fast).
If you are referring to my 60 - 100 post, those shifts were done at about 65-67 mph as well (no X1/pulley/tune when that video was taken) with about 90 HP less and a full audio system. if you want to compare to that I don't think its quite fair on my end but hey, I wasn't comparing anything until everyone else started using it as a tool.
A pull from 0-100 will often yield a quicker 60-100 time then a pull starting at 60; so analyzing the 0-100 video should give you quite impressive times (post them up!).
I don't think anyone on here is a race car driver, the MKII kit is built very nice and im sure will please a lot of people.
I said it before and will say it again, a pull from 60-100 in 3 seconds (or now even the acclaimed 4 seconds) is pretty damn impressive.
I can guarantee I will not pull those times on 10 PSI, on nitrous, at sea level; so if those are the times then I have a lot of
respect for the MKII.
My hat is off to gadget.
Everyone needs to chill out and enjoy their trucks.
Props again for making yet another great video wert, ive watched it countless times already.
