The first official X-Fest was in Atlanta - and we had a preliminary X-Fest Micro in March 2007 in Orlando. Keep in mind we try to move it around every year so that everyone has an opportunity to go to one. So far the Northeast guys have been hung out to dry and have driven 11-12 hours the past 2 years. So this time we're putting it a lot closer to them so they can enjoy a 3-6 hour drive for a change. Next year we'll move it somewhere else.

Thanks for the astute observation Mr. Negative. Guess why? Because Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and North Carolina are die hard X-Fest attendees. If it's within 10 hours, I KNOW that those guys will be there.

I'm hoping that we see some more attendees from the North East. If DS doesn't put his damn name on the list, I'm sending him a cake made from my poop. :laugh:

EDIT: Okay I just looked at this list... WTF are you talking about? The names in orange where NOT at X-Fest last year (or any year). That's half the list... :stupid:

Any Florida crew? Straight shot up 95 and an 18-20 hour drive....

Im going this year, missed last because I was out of a job and got behind on bills.

i'm not going, x-fest sucks...lol

i do have a request... could we make it southern pa? just from where i'm at it makes a big difference: 7 1/2 hours to southern pa, and 11 hours to northern pa... keeping it too far north will only hurt attendance. and the difference between 2 and 6 isn't that bad, and 7 1/2 is definately doable, but 11 is a LONG drive... i'm just sayin.

If your not willing to drive, then you not willing to go. There are going to be plenty of people driving farther than you by far, and wont complain about the drive. Half of the experience is the drive, let alone driving in packs with other XR's.

chill people... i wasn't complaining... just saying that if it's too far north then it's going to be catered to a much smaller group. if i want to come, i'll make the drive, no big deal. i'd like to see as big a turnout as possible wheather i make it there or not. i was using my location as an example. i know it's gonna rock, and i'd love to be there. and chris, you're hardcore, that's a heck of a drive ( so you should understand what i was talking about) ROCK ON guys!!! and hopefully i'll make it. you can put me on the list as a 50/50. lol.

both pittsburgh and philly are about 13 hours for me. So Im more than happy to drive that. figured it would be way more.

I've made that drive from here to JAX a few times --- it's not too bad. You may want to take Steve up on his offer to crash at his house and drive up Thursday night - crash get a good nights sleep - and then roll out with us in the morning on Friday.
