Throw out bearing group buy?

I'll be needing one in a near future. This is a feeler so if anyone is incline on putting it together, by all mean.

im surprised noone has asked 4 this b4 with he amount of throwout bearings we go through. lol depending on the price i may just grab one to have on hand for when mine goes again! or when i blow my clutch ill throw it in then!! lol

Everyone keeps telling me its the imput shaft misalignment and not the bearing....is this true poonin?

i just regreased mine today?

remove the black seal, clean out, re pack and bam. the old grease in it was breaking down, and provided like no lubrication. now its ike butter

Lubrication is over rated anyway.

In some case, yes....but not all in my experience.

What kind of grease u pack it with Rexrunner?

use a small flathead to reove the black seal, use brake cleaner to get all the gunk out, let dry, then i used wheel bearing grease. might not be the best, but if it can stand those condtions then im sure its fine. btw the stock gunk was white/grey, new was black

Yea i need one soon! Got the stage 2 clutch and I'm just waiting for the URD flywheel and they i will replace my throwout bearing also.

i can do a dealer cost GB on the t/o bearings..

i will have to check price tomorrow at work so i can let you guys know :top:

That thing is gonna get WAYYYY overheated...
Wrong type of grease to be using amigo. I would suggest doing that over with something of a higher quality.

just bought some wgk2 grease today! its what the vw use, so i think im safe. the bearing takes maybe 5 mins to pack after cleaning out so im good lol

Damn it! I just noticed mine is making noise now:thumpdown:

all the more reason to upgrade to a stage IV clutch and Fidanza flywheel

I'd like to see another group buy on Fidanza flywheels:rock:
seeing that I'll be in there already:smile:
