I dono where but someone makes a adapter to run a Chevy auto trans for our truck. No one has done it yet that I have heard about but i want to do it if mine goes out after warrenty. Ill look around and try and find it

NO you can't get an auto, and you would have at least $7,000 in a swap! trans,ecu,wire harness, drive shaft, and the list goes on.:thumpdown:

May i ask why would someone want to put an auto trans in the XR? IDK for that just get a regular taco that is Auto and put the body kit and the suspension.

I think alot of us wouldnt mind putting the auto in the xr.....the tranny is absolute fail. Id rock an auto if it was an option but only if they never improved the manual trans.

Id put a auto in my truck with a shift kit and walk ever stick shift here! :top:

A normal taco trans tha bolts right up and one of these would be aewsome!

You look in to that and you will see it's a lot of parts and money! Yea trans bolts up but you need more parts than that! :top:Time cost nothing but parts cost!

What about semi-auto (paddle shift) transmission? Nice to have the auto w/ 2 clutches and still be able to select your gear eh? Talk about a true "quick shifter"!:rock:
