I know a few of you have blow-up engines, when drifting. I am curious how many would be interested in a deeper oil sump and pick up. I am thinking of a deeper sump with hinged gates.

My guess for cost would be around $350.

Right now, I am just trying to see if there is an interest.

No. I am just trying to determine if I want to go to the trouble.

I was thinking of an extension that went between the pan and the block.

I would be interested, $350 is better than a new motor... at any rate just as a failsafe it would be good. Obliously the less it hits the wallet the better!

Hey James i think the offroad pan would be awesome if it was an easy switch out. Maybe a ''slight modification required'' type of install

I was thinking of an aluminum part, maybe 2" ~ 3" deep that your stock steel pan would bolt up to. This part would have some gates that would limit to oil from sloshing to one side of the pan.

You know how are stock oil pickup is attached and how hard it would be to modify/change?

I agree with the Ryan,

Studs with nuts would be a hot ticket.

Just looked and do you have any concerns with clearance? 2" seems like it would drop it down a fair bit especially with SS coils.
