How do i fix it? lol. I put grease on the piston area, but it came back. I went to the dealership, and they are like well we are going to need all day to look at it so you will have to leave it here in the morning. I can't do that I work, and I worry if I do leave it there, they might take it out for a joyride or something all day, and the problem probably only takes like 5 minutes to fix. So any ideas?

They said they can't fix it... well mine did. The TSB's were for the 05-06... they CLAIM the new parts are in the 07's... which was not what I was tellign them. I told them to fix it and they said the squeaking was normal... I almost choked a ho:bird: ... All I know is its this bushing thing... I believe lol wait for spyder to tune in:top:

i took the TSB to the dealer multiple times. They said it was normal, I said no its not, I've driven standards blah blah blah.....long story short. I said OK, i have a squeaky clutch I want fixed under warranty, there apparently isn't a TSB out for it....but I have a couple papers here I think might help and I'll leave them on the seat, HOLLA!

Aloha guys. I think this might help. I've had the creaky clutch before. I work for Toyota and the first repair under the TSB lasted for about 6 months. The creak came back worse than ever. I think I found the problem and solution. The clutch pedal arm is a composite (plastic) material and the pivot point on the plunger shaft mates in the back. What I've noticed is that over time the shaft has a tendency to rotate alittle, enough so that the pivot point binds and causes a creak that is heard and felt in the pedal as it's depressed. Mine creaked and vibrated on the first initial travel of 1 1/2 to 2 inches. All I did was to rotate (center) the shaft untill it felt like it was in the pocket again. Squeak, creak and vibration is gone. The cure was instant and has not returned for 2 months now. As an experiment I rotated the shaft as if it was out of line and the creak returned. To me the problem is identified and solved on my X. Try this it may work and save you a trip to the dealer. BTW, I didn't lube the pivot at all. I hope this helps. The creaky cluch drove me nuts!

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. But I tried greasing that shaft part. I guess it doesn't work. How do you rotate the shaft though, by hand? tool? And last but not least what is TSB?

TSB-Tall Sexy Blonde  For real TSB =Technical Service Bulletins-A technical service bulletin (TSB) is issued by the manufacturer. More commonly known as a "secret warranty," a TSB is distributed to all of the manufacturer's dealerships and it often instructs service personnel to fix problems covered by the TSB free of charge, but only if the repair is necessary to resolve a customer complaint. TSBs are also issued regarding updated part installation and repair instructions, among other items.

TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin, it's basically a sheet of paper that says certain vehicles may experience a certain common problem and tell what parts need to be replaced.

It also tells what VIN numbers the repair should apply to.

It's not a "hush hush" thing. It's meant to help technicians diagnose and repair common problems. No it doesn't apply to 07's, but that does not mean that tey can't fix it, it just means they can't submit the TSB to toyota warranty as their reason for repair.

I used a pair of pliers to grip the shaft and rotated it a bit untill it felt centered. Creak all gone!. It worked for me.

Its the metal shaft that is pushed by the clutch pedal into the firewall. Take a pair of pliers and rotate the shaft alittle. The shaft will want to center itself at the pivot point between the clutch pedal arm and the head of the shaft. You can lube it if you want to, try graphite based lube. If not probabaly anything will work.
