Here it is. I figure that with all of the modifications my truck has been through, that it was time for a build thread. When I purchased my truck in Feb. 06, I special ordered it with: SR5, 6 speed maunal, V6, Access Cab, 4x4, non TRD. Base ugly wheels and all. One month later I had the 6" lift installed.
I have always followed the moto: Form follows function. I will let the pics do the rest of the talking.
Pre Turbo
STS kit shortly after install.
Walbro 255 upgrade
Getting my Map-Ecu2 "tuned" at PowerHouse Racing near Ft. Worth. STS's "pre-tuned" Unichip was a fail.
^^On that day, I still had stock headers and a stock Y-pipe.
First clutch. Got me past the worn out stock clutch. Still was slipping due to large tires, and lots of torque. Upgraded to the SPEC Stage 3+ with the Fidanza flywheel. Slipage countered.
Got the URD Y Pipe, and had Flex couplings installed, and one more in the "cat-back" as well. Also added the first V-band flange, to stop leaks.
Snorkel to help prevent another water fed motor. Installed it right after I got the truck back from the first built motor installed.
More pics to follow......
