I'm sure it will run out of fuel eventually because I still have stock injectors. It should be able to go farther before running out of fuel though because now I have the bigger fuel pump.

That's not correct. If ur fuel demand for the injectors is "X" amount and ur already at 95% IDC the fuel pump isn't gonna be able to push the injectors past what they're already maxxed out at it will just make sure the pressure doesn't drop off. In other words the pump can't make the injectors flow more then what they are designed for. As soon as u see ur injectors maxxing out at 95% IDC on a data log that means it's time for bigger injectors, if u can't log data and start leaning out up top that's most likely a give away that it's time to upgrade to bigger injectors.

I have a TRD blower and when I added the URD 2.825" pulley my injectors were maxxing out at 95%. Even though I only had a stock fuel pump at the time, upgrading to the walbro 255 wouldn't have helped the injectors lower their duty cycle, only getting bigger injectors would do it or adding a 7th injector to take some of the demand away from the primaries would.

Exactly. This is what is already happening with me. Cause in theroy, with the stock aic tune, I should be running to rich. Which I am, but I'm still leaning out in the upper Rpms. Just Not as bad as I did with the stock 750cc. I assume, you'll run into the same issue, especially if your running more boost, and hitting it sooner. Yes, I have the urd fuel pump. I'm going to following the guide and see what, if anything extra I can squeeze out of her.

You have the 255 installed?

If so, then you are running out of primary injector.

Yeah I knew the bigger fuel pump wouldn't be able to push the stock injectors past their max, I just didn't know if they were maxed out already or not. If they weren't they sure as hell will be now. I have a member on here that will sell me his trd's but then I need a way to tune them and honestly I just don't have the money for it right now with the house and everything. I will get them eventually, it will just have to wait till after I get all my furniture and stuff. It does kill me knowing there's power in there being held back by those damn injectors.

Yah, i just tuned mine, got her to sit at 11:1 through most of the power band, and hit about 12:1 near the redline....I'm maxing out all of my injectors:thumpdown:

She'll hit 8lbs of boost though. :top: Damn she is quick.

Ok so I went and got it tuned yesterday and it is running great. Makes about 7 psi on the 80mm and apparently that is about equal to 8 or 9 psi on a c30 because the c38 flows alot more. I could of gone to the 75 but it would of thrown a code for pulling too much air through the maf sensor. I think Gadget said my injectors aren't maxed out yet and I still have a little bit left in them. But whenever I get the money I'll just get the trd injectors, some kind of ecu and get the maf sensor issue taken care of so I can run it around 9 psi. But yeah for right now it is running great.

Cool, let me know what happens with that. I think I'll let it the way it is for a little while though, cause the more power it makes, the more im gonna want to run the crap out of it lol. Just last night when I got back some mazdaspeed3 decided he wanted to mess with me. It def had a bigger turbo, exhaust suspension, im sure it was tuned, idk what else. I had him up to about 100 and then he only got me by like half a car length.

That is likely to turn out like those performance throttle bodies.

It will whack everything else out.

Yeah I thought about that too. Im sure it might create some other issues.

hmm ok they are using them in the mustangs and other performance vehicles like the supra as well? what issues are you guys thinking it would cause?

What exactly does it do and how does it do it?

what im getting from it is it is able to get a more accurate reading and quicker reading from the maf back to the ecu thats about all i was kinda just looking for somthing that was going to be more stable under pressure than stock i posted the link above

found this:
How They Work: Mass air induction systems measure airflow with an electronic “hot-wire” type mass airflow sensor. The sensing element in the air intake provides an output voltage reading that is directly proportional to the amount of air that is entering the engine. This airflow measurement reduces the calculations required to control fuel and ignition spark advance. Mass airflow sensors can react quickly and accurately to sudden changes in airflow while improving overall vehicle performance and drivability.
Calibrated for Optimum Performance: Granatelli Motor Sports spends hundreds of hours testing and calibrating to optimize performance for your specific application. Each application is calibrated on our proprietary computerized flow bench. Then, each application is dyno tested and driven under a variety of real world tests using sophisticated air/fuel ratio monitors, exhaust gas temperature gauges and data logging computers. The result is optimum performance for YOUR specific application

Hmmmm....I wonder how your not maxed out yet...Cause I'm pushing 8lbs out of the c30...and I'm out fuel according to the aic.

I'm not sure if it would or not, just that sometimes some cars are more finicky then others and it's a possibility. But if it doesn't and it works like it should, and isn't ridiculously expensive, it might be another option.

I'm not sure how I'm not, I thought I would be too, but apparently I have enough to go one size smaller but then I'll have check engine lights.

Im not sure, I don't have any way to look at that, Gadget tuned it for me and I didn't see anything about how much air was coming through.
