That car looks sick bro. I always loved these cars. Worked for a Pontiac dealer and loved working on some the hot rodded ones that come through there. Some had some stroker kits n them and fun to drive.

thx guys....yeah i need to get some engine pics up. not quite done with it, but i'll post some soon.

this is the first car i bought off ebay....it was almost a year ago. as for the paint, im not a huge fan of loud colors either. i hate the color green and chrome rims but when i saw this in person i had to buy it. the color is off a 2008 dodge viper & its called snakeskin green. as you can see in the pics the color varies depending on the light...it is much better in person. engine bay, all door jams, trunk & underside are painted green...not sure what the orig color was.

as for the chrome rims they are 18" corvette wheels w/ nitto nt555r II 305/35z r18 drag radials in the back and 275/35z r18 up front. and as you can see its dropped...prob too low. in one pic you can see the 4" full exhaust & off-road y pipe is nearly dragging. also chrome vette exhaust tips too.

the engine is an ls1 v-8 like in a vette & tranny is a 6 spd manual. ws6 has the upgraded sports suspension & ram air hood. pls do not mistake for the v6 5spd or auto firebird you normally see...totally different bird. more details when i get engine pics up.

Just so you know, the WS6 package doesn't come with the ram air setup. The ram air is another option completely seperate from the WS6 stuff.

thx. those wheels would look great on it too. like i said before, im not a fan of chrome but in person it really sets the color off. didnt know that about the hood....every ws6 ive ever seen had the ram air.

A performance package (WS6) is also available starting in 1996 which includes a ram air hood and intake, freer flowing exhaust, and upgraded suspension.

Trans Am - same setup as the Formula, but with specific nose (fog lights and air dam), tail (contoured lower valance), and side ground effects. It has same rear spoiler as the Formula, although an "up-level" spoiler is an available option. A performance package (WS6) is also available starting in 1996 which includes a ram air hood and intake, freer flowing exhaust, and upgraded suspension.

every ws6 ive ever seen had the ram air.

The RAM AIR HOOD is part of the WS6 package. I worked for a Pontiac dealer i would know. Loved driving those beasts too.

Back then the Ram Air might have been a option of the WS6 package but when you made the comment it seemed like you were talking about just his car in the pic and not WS6 in general.

Not gonna lie... I am not a fan of these cars.... for some reason to me they look like a huge boat car.... Nice looking car though. The color really sets it apart from the others. A close friend of mine had a clean custom orange one but very sadly died in it about 3 months ago because a drunk driver crashed into him head on. He had a nice looking one and it was a beast. It would shake his 2 story house when he started it up.... you could hear every lobe on that cam.
