3000 2jz twin turbo supra motor

is it possible for this to go in the x if u get the 6 speed tranny fit. its a lil smaller but has more power. im not that technically educated when it comes to all this. has anyone done this or heard of it being done. any info would be great.

There is a member on here who has one in his Srunner. It is nicknamed a supra truck. A friend of mine had a quote for $12,000 plus turn key, for his x runner.

Agree with Torspd. Anything is possible with a big enough bank account or enough knowledge.
I would not try and mate it with our trans though, no need to do that.

I remember someone posting a vid of a regular cab 2nd gen with a 2jz in it a while ago. Pretty sick but not the easiest of things to complete. There would be many obstacles to overcome.

2jz in a s14 is what I want! Lol they have kits to drop the 2jz in a 240 without any cutting at all. Just direct drop in for the motor. Trannys a different story.
But man 12k for a 2jz into our trucks is kinda steep... But u will have a 1 of a kind beast in ur truck!

I had a shop quote me $13k for a turn key 2jz guaranteed me 550 crank hp, the shop they use for dynotuning up in concord, NC (name of the shop escapes me) did a 2jz swap into a RR Xrunner from Charlotte, also if not mistaken there was a 2jz SWB at some anime (sp?) convention a member posted on here a couple years ago.

So been looking round asking questions and I think I am almost ready to start buying parts. It has been a toss up between the sc pc a turbo or the 2jz and I think I have made up my mind. So here is what I have been thinking of with the help of some friends. A 2jz motor with a t56 tranny and a 9" rear end of a old foxbody. What do you all think. I know it will be a lot of fabing but I think the end result will be worth it.so let the thoughts begin.
