The set up I previously had was vented to atmosphere.
Both cam covers were run to a jaz catch can with a POS filter on top, the capped the intakes where the lines would normally run to.
Amazing to see how much blow by these things have. Certainly used to work, but being a 4WD which gets used from time to time, I was skeptical as to how clean the system was.
Then I went to a TTC catch can and now it is closed circuit. The PCV runs to the can, the 'passenger' side runs to the intake as per usual.
Theoretically, the closed loop system should give a little bit of vacuum in the crankcase versus the open vented style....vacuum in the crankcase = more power lol
