Just thought I would share this with everyone. A message from John's mother who placed an order for some decals this morning

I am John's mother. I am so very touched by the out pouring of love and
support for my family, his wife, Nancy and his little girls, Anna and
Isabel. As you may know, Nancy is expecting a baby girl in May. I cannot
tell you how much your compassion means to us. John was a good guy and we
miss him terribly. Your love strengthens us. Thank you. Christine Jeckot

And a later message from her.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am John Jeckot's mother. I so appreciate the Memorial Stickers that you
designed in John's memory as a member of your club. He loved everything
about mechanics whether car, truck or fighter jets all the way back to when
he was a toddler. Thank you for giving him a place where he could help
others and share his knowledge. Thank you for being a friend to him.

The sticker is absolutely beautiful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ordered mine yesterday. Will display it on my XR as the center point of the rear sliding window. (If it will fit properly...). I want it to be visible to anyone who even gives me a glance. It's the least I can do to show support to the family of a fellow XR brother.

Thank you for posting the message from his mother. I shared it with my wife today and teared up again. Was cleaning out my gmail box and ran across quite a few emails from John.... still tough. Sure do miss that guy.

i always wondered how decals stand up to the sliding window...:dontknow:

Quick update guys - we wanted to cut them all at one time --- single run --- with ALL the money going to the family (I am donating all of the time and materials so John's family can get as much as possible). I plan to cut all of the stickers this weekend and will send to David or Matt who will then ship out to everyone who ordered.

THANK YOU ALL again for helping the family. It's moments like these when the old skool XRU shows up and that makes me proud of you guys. Keep the (XRU) family strong! :rockon:

Happy to report that I sold the WRX and Johns truck"murderface"is now in my driveway with a new Red murderface sticker ordered and should be on the truck this week. I only stalled once when I drove it out of our friends garage

. Have been looking into getn a new set of rims for the truck cause that's really the only thing it needs. Thanx for posting my moms email,it took her a while to get the strength to get on the site and read everyone's kind words about John. Thnx again, Chris
