And before people start whining about my stock intake being on... YES i PERFER it on because ANY intake other then approved will void the warranty and THIS setup builds the most power WITH the stock intake...

I remember when I had a Ranger, guys that bought the whipple supercharger for their 3.0L used to say that using a stock airbox over a cone filter/aftermarket intake made more hp...like 2hp or something ridiculous like that. And they had proven it on a dyno.

but I still think it was just a bunch of old guys saying that. I dont see how it wouldnt benefit to have free flowing air coming into a s/c which loves more air to begin with.

Im sure most people will find that aftermarket intakes will work great with this s/c. I could be wrong but I dont think so.

but that has nothing to do with the blower. its all in the gearing.


I really need to ride in one. they seem quick. It pulls hard ( watching the speedo) I think it climbs 0-60 a little quicker than mine, but my 60-120 seems quicker.

it will be a neat side by side comparison

by the way what was your total cost installed just curious?? mine stage 2 with a lm1 was $5,200...i installed it myself..warranty doesn't matter cause toyota is my account and i work on it myself so if i got a prob it'll be taken care of. and i would have gotten the trd if it came out a year ago,,i had the itch like a crackhead lol

If you watch the vids from a roll in 2nd gear it takes bout 5 seconds to go from 20 to 60.You can use the second counter on the media player and get a rough estimate.5 seconds to go from 20 to 60 :thumpdown: not too impressed.Really need a dyno run to know for sure but so far it just looks really nice when you pop the hood:top:

Sweet thanks for the vids, I am still debating between a waranted S/C and a non warranted Turbo, But the TRD is tempting right now because it is under warranty! trucks looking good and I'm diggin the TRD. I will be really interested to see what it can do when you are not restricted with the camera. Stay Safe

The supercharger and everything installed WITH a warranty and smog certs came to about 4700... and im sure once the dealer's get used to doing the install then the cost of labor will go down
