Are the tundra Throttle bodies plug and play or is there soldering involved?

What kind performance can you see from adding a bigger throttlebody

That would depend on what other combination of mods you run with it.

If you run a nice intake, and unstuffed exhaust you should see in the 10 RWHP range. If you run it with the stock air filter box and a stuffed up exhaust, not as much as other parts in the system would likely be more flow restrictive.

What about a supercharged truck with all the supporting exhaust?

Yea, OK, like do you want me to be like the other companies and make stuff up and publish an "UP TO 48 HP" or give you an real honest answer??

The honest answer is I have not tested it with every possible combination so I really cannot answer that. Now if you understand the concept you should be able to see how when you eliminate restrictions to the flow path in and out of the engine the power potential goes up.

so g man will the tundra throttle valve just hook up with no wiring required? i.e. plug and play, without a aftermarket ecm of any kind?

Someone here had the 7th injector installed along with the adapter plate and Tundra throttle body, and they said the 7th injector inside diameter is smaller than the adapter plate inside diameter. This created a bottle neck. Is there a flow issue there G?

Once again i've searched, and does anyone know if the tundra throttle body is plug n play?

A lot of weary people here.... Has everyone seen the tundra TB? It's in a link above somewhere. Look at it closely. Tell me it doesn't look like ours just bigger. Plus knowing the way G works he would want to make this as simple as possible. Believe it or not It is remove and replace. G Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not mistaken I believe 1GRracer is running it.

For folks with the 7th, have it bored out. Might be something I look into depending what I do with my truck.

im also wondering the same thing. iv found a few 4.7 TB's on ebay for under 100. if they are plug and play im in. Also, will the coupler on the URD intake still fit G? or will i need a bigger one?
