Wait what!? Um details G I am just waiting for my exhaust before I drop my trans and replace my tob. Haven't driven the truck much since it's needed. If this is the "fix" I'll be the first in line.

Somehow I have been fortunate enough to not have to worry about my throw out bearing. Knock on wood

Not just a throw out bearing it's an intire slave cylinder/hydraulic clutch. Rather than using a clutch fork. Way better setup. This would be a must have if I still had the Toyota Trans.

I keep getting calls from people that have had the quill in their bell housings that supports the through out bearing snap off. The only fix for this is to replace the bell housing. The part alone is $800 then the labor so it is expensive to fix. I had to figure out a better way.

With the luck we have been having with the hydrolic bearing in the T56 swap kits, figured that had to be the way to go. Something we have been working on a while now.

Got a couple of test units out there and it works like a champ. It also cures that damn squeaking noise some get with the stock bearing as well.

The bearing/sleeve kit solved about 90% or better of the problems, but in some cases the issue remains. Toyota has the bearing pull away from the pressure plate fingers instead of pressing it into it like the hydro bearing type. The problem is when that quill gets all chewed up that bearing sits crooked when there is no pressure on it and can make intermentant contact with the fingers and presents as a squeak. The sleeve does a good job of fixing this for most people, but some still have the problem. Toyota tried putting a spring into the slave cylinder to jam the bearing into the fingers. Seemed to fix it, but the bearing burns up. Not designed to run all the time, so they went back to the old way and it just live with the squeak.

OK, so this new FIX, will solve the squeak problem, and solve the problem with the snapped off quill. The downside it is not cheap and you have to remove the quill to install it, so once you go this way, there is no turning back.

I've been lucky and haven't had an issue with mine. I'd have no problem installing this on my truck if you want another test unit out there. You can ship it my way with the new clutch haha.
