It doesn't bother me unless it's about to blow up....then I might need to do something

The delayed shift from 4th to 5th is of the norm. Some times it takes way too long. Doubld has also experience this in his auto. If I remember correctly the guy at level ten said the valve body upgrade will eliminate majority of the symptoms u described. Let me check my emails.

If you send in your unit, Not that hard. It's just messy cause trans fluid will drop all over your face. IPT has a video on their website of how to do the install. On the other hand if you do the DIY route with the level ten kit, I'm not sure how hard it is. By the looks of the other thread we spoke in, it looks fairly easy to do.

Hi all, Just did a clutch replacement, ordered clutch from the dealer did the install and replaced tranny fluid, have 2 new problems did not have before.
#1. 3rd gear grind when shifting at high rpms ( feels like syncrho but wasent there before).
#2 When riding in 2, 4, or 6. gear there is a hissing sound coming from the tranny right below the shifter, goes away when i disengage clutch,

Any thoughts??
I used factory fluid on tranny and had flywheel corrected.

150k miles bone stock.........

Welcome to the Underground Hector!
Most of us have had better luck with MT-90 for fluid, but as long as you put 2 quarts of something Toyota in there you should be fine.
Don't forget to adjust your clutch pedal, that may the reason for your hiss.
There's a thread somewhere on here about it, also there may be a break-in period for your clutch so slow down lol

Thanks mejbro looking forward to doing the MT-90
Adjusting the pedal i seem to have too much top play. Hissing only happening in 2, 4, 6 though all the gears that happen to take the shifter down(not sure if this indicates something) what was once just a worn clutch is turning into a headache !!!!!

I've run it in mine for nearly 200,000 miles. I'll never put anything else in it.
