Well.... One of the biggest problems is my AFR numbers running consistently at say 65 mph. My afrs will clock back and forth 15.2 straight to 14.2 then back to 15.2 then 14.2 and so on at a consistent basis. The signals the front wraf and back hego sensors communicating are providing incorrect data to the EMS for some reason. Which is weird cause i have 4 brand new sensors in. Vbands with step lips headers back. The correct data should be targeting the Ucon EMS to an AFR close to 15.2 at a steady 65 mph. Ive talked with Scott a few times and sent him data logs etc about it... I'm just getting tired of dealing with it...Work is crazy right now. Got to pick your battles but luckily my reflash runs fine as long as I don't WOT.

I had an AFR issue like what you mentioned.. my issue was I needed an air flow straightener..

the air was picking up some turbulence somewhere and it would cause the afr to jump all over the place while going down the freeway.. after I got a straightener it was a lot more "normal" also the position of my MAF had a roll in my fuel trims.. it had to be in a "factory" up style position or my fuel trims would be way out..

Hmm... I too have this problem. But when I a cruise on the freeway above 2k rpm in 6th gear my afr stays at a steady 14.6. Since I have a dual wide band set up one on each bank my bank 2 acts wild sometimes but my fuel trim seems to be good. I checked for exhaust leaks and it was all good. So I just tune my truck using the afr from bank 1

Mine sweeps as well until I get into the throttle. I was always under the impression that this was normal closed loop operation.

Yes, the 1GR ECU does not hold a steady 14.7:1 AFR. It will run richer, then leaner, then richer, then leaner and so on. If you connect a scan tool and monitor the commanded AFR you will see this constantly changing. It does not do that on my 3.5L Tacoma. It is very steady.

One theory for this is to enhance catalytic convert efficiency.

My afr fluctuates as well. U had me thinking for a bit but when I looked at my old videos, it's been doing that from the beginning I had my wideband installed. As stoner stated, a flow straightener may be a good idea. I need to get me one as well since it reads more turbulence than the URD sc sees.

Small update. Been working so much that I forgot I ordered a flow Straightener from treadstone performance. Came in the mail today and had some time to at least install this before the maf. Reason for buying this is due to higher turbulence reading in the maf from my turbo compared to urd charger. Should definitely help.

I wonder how much difference it'll make... Just don't install it the wrong way

Lol. Its the right way. Install was pretty easy. Just had to fold the edges a bit for it to fit into the 3' maf housing. once it was partially in, i put epoxy on the sides then flipped it to where the honeycomb was on the table and the maf housing was on top and slowly pushed down so it slides in nicely.

Gotcha. Well have you noticed an improvement in drive ability since the install? That alone would be proof.

When I drove it to work today, I was watching my AFR. It's a lot more stable. Used to fluctuate from 14.3-15.7. Now it stays between 14.3-14.7. Only time it goes to 15 is when it shifts.

Finally installed my suspension. Looking to get some light racing UCA since my caster and camber is a bit off. Hopefully that will help with the alignment. Other than that it drives straight.

I'll try to get better pics. Been raining a lot this week.
