A local diesel shop is having an all access dyno day on Saturday and $50 for 3 pulls is too good a price to pass up. I'm going to log some data from the UCON during the runs and get a baseline.

The truck as it sits now:

URD MK3, C38-81, 70mm pulley, 80lb injectors, s2_800 cal file, full Spec-U headers and exhaust, 6 speed, 3.73 gears, 33 inch tires.

Peaks just shy of 12psi at redline (6200) at 11ish AFR.

With those TQ numbers I expected more peak HP. Wonder if I have a leak...

It looks like I have a misfire up top.

A lot of surprised onlookers. :laugh: This is a diesel place. I had the best numbers of the day for a gasser. Killed some gas V8s and made more torque than a couple diesels.

A couple black smoke puffs in the video (before I hit the limiter). I'll check plug gap just to be sure. Coils are new. I thought you wanted a log from the UCON, my bad.


Not unhappy with the numbers at all, especially for a daily with 150K on the motor. Just a little confused by the reversal of HP/TQ from the norm.
