its a texas speed rotating assembly. 4 inch stroker crank h beam rods wiseco pistons that are 4.030. arp main studs head studs basically everything is arp inside and out. dual row timing chain with dampener and a high volume high pressure melling oil pump. i have a lunati cam ground for turbo application. i have texas speed tie bar lifters cometic head gaskets i think that may be it lol. i also have coated the frame it looks soooooo good.

also got the engine bay all cleaned up of unnecessary brackets and battery tray etc. removed harness to clean it up an get ready for a partial wire tuck. also removed interior to patch where i put the 4x4 shifter. new carpet an run a ton of wires and get rid of unnecessary things.

And here I am being frustrated with having to swap a clutch.....

i wish. but i also am goin above and beyond. i want this thing to be show quality also. anyone can swap a engine but have the fit an finish also throughout the entire build is another level in my opinion.

That block you are using, is it a standard height block? If so, how far do the pistons drop out of the bore on the bottom?

standard not a lsx block. yes they come out the bottom a little more than stock thats what happens when you do a stroker but using a rotating assy. that has been proven

got the front end almost back together. waiting for powder coating stuff to come back to wrap it all up. then waiting for cylinder heads so i can put the rest of the engine together an back into the frame. i want yalls opinion leave cylinder heads the natural aluminum or coat the whole engine block and heads black.

I just don't like the idea of black on all of the engine components because in my head, it seems it would make it harder to find the source of a potential leak.

yes but that is why they make oil dye? i first thought the same thing. because the heads are not super shiny. kinda dull. ill take a picture and post it up with them on the engine. just got them back last night.

finally got the engine all together. painted it an put it in its home!! it was a exciting step in this build. ill be mounting the trans hopefully today or tomorrow. still have to fix the crack in the bell housing.
