Hello guys, I finally click the join button. Been watching for a long time. Love all the info from this site don't know why i didn't join sooner. Most recent mod was a Ipad mini 4 dash kit made by Soundman on youtube.

Sorry it took so long. Doug from Soundmanca made a iPad mini 4 dash kit in a few of his videos on YouTube a sold it on his website from witch I bought it from. Slywhitty found the video. He doesn't do it anymore he just sales foat mount kits on his website. In the video it's a side slider kit molded Into a soche Tacoma double din dash kit. He makes it look easy.

What about wiring ive seen the video where he makes the mount and talks about raffas mom

My Sony radio (MEX-GS810BH) has a USB port in the back so i just connected it that way or you can go BT. I put my radio in the glove box only because i didn't want to cut into the dash kit. I keep the glove box closed at all times and control the radio via Sony app on the Ipad. If you use BT to connect to the radio you cant control the radio though that device. You can connect you Iphone to the front USB to control it if you go that route. Oh and the radio also charges the IPad or Iphone via USB as well. there are more video of him making this ipad dash kit on youtube.

I use this and a bluetooth receiver to keep the stock radio look

Watched 4 diff videos saw a control module in one of them for a brief moment
i some time use the stereo control too. he put a ipad pro in his ford and put a pioneer radio behind it with a bit one. he also did a ipad pro kit for steve meade.
