You may want to make sure the lowering block is tight against the spring and perch. I had to drill my center hole out. The bolt that goes through all the leaf springs would not fit inside the hole of the block.

Make sure you're using a wire brush or better yes a bench grinder with a wire wheel to clean the threads. Sounds like you may not actually be getting them torqued. Maybe hitting some grit. Either that or your u-bolts are stretching. Maybe a little loctite next time.

Thank you. I wouldn't want the whole axle coming out from under me so next day off Imma use some thread lock and screw on a second bolt right after the first bolt and in between I'm gonna put a lock washer. Over board lol....

Yeah same here I noticed the center hole was like a hair to small so I drilled it out a little bigger the first time I installed it.

I've had my drop (mono leafs) on for 8 years.....never once had to re-torque the u-bolts

By any chance do u remember what your torque lbs was when u did it? And this was on a xii street kit????

Toyota spec is 38ftlbs. Doesn't seem enough to me

Wow that's way too low. That's how I had mine at first it was way loose just for regular socket wrench not even a torque wrench hahaha. On other Toyota forums they're saying around 90 but on other car sites there posting 150lbs lol. I don't know 38 seems so low and scared to torque it 150lbs and sheer the bolts lol. Toyota's specs are for stock u bolts though. I wonder if the strength and material is a lot different for the xii beilsten lowering block and u bolts. Imma just do 90 and put thread locker lectite and then a second bolt backing up the first and then a lock washer in between the bolts hahahah trying to make sure it doesn't come loose again lol

The instructions for the SOS kit say 75 Ft Lbs for rear U bolts.

Thanks guys!!! Here's an update.... I retightened mine to 90 torque.... I added a lock washer and then a second nut after that and red thread lock.. hahaha a little over board but after a month it seems to be working out just fine.... Here's a picture of my truck...
