My brother had one on his 07, just the crank pulley. The timeframe was around 2008-2009. Install was pretty easy, I didn't help as I was pretty young then, but all he really needed was a breaker bar and a metal tube for an extension for the handle.

He had that and a TRD CAI and he said it changed the truck quite dramatically, to the point where he always pushes me to get the same two mods, though I'd probably end up going with a URD TCAI on mine.

Though I did a little digging and heard some members here never received their orders, or received partial orders. Not sure if that's still the case, but something to think about. I've been on the fence about buying one though. May pull the trigger on one with my next bonus...

Max

EDIT: Both trucks were N/A.

You will be able to tell the difference. I have the whole set for n/a. Not sure about shipping issues especially now since Harvey hit. Worth the wait if need be though

Don't buy from nst. Look for them used. If you buy from them you'll never see your pulleys or money back.

Mike hasn't been an active member here in a few years. When I bought mine like 7 years ago they were still good to us here but about 4-5 years ago they took a lot of orders that were never filled and never refunded. A lot of ppl were pissed and I know they weren't able to get their money back because they had already waited too long to put in a disput because they were told multiple times they would be getting their stuff. If your local to them then maybe worth the risk otherwise I wouldn't risk it.

I can't see this being a power mod like really how much weight is really saved

and it's no longer a dampener at this point

Makes for faster revs, less drag, quicker rpm, and looks good

the stock one is still a balancer if toyota did not think it was needed they would have not put it on. some honda are solid most cars with balance shafts have a solid one as well

the name of the game is the more power you push the bigger the blancer will have to be

if you want a proper one that weighs less buy one of these

Interesting. So is it plug n play or would you have to tune it in a way?

It's "PnP' per say... or better yet, it's an "RnR" as some would say. Replacing the crank pulley to a LTW one will not require any tuning.

Just imagine trying to run/jog in some heavy-duty work boots.....and then swapping those boots out for a pair of lightweight track spikes/shoes and running/jogging with them. I guarantee that you'll feel like you were Usain Bolt just by changing your shoes.

stock pulley = HD work boots
LTW pulley = track shoes

With that said.....
NonStop Tuning = piss poor business operation. Sad.

This. I have one on my Tacoma. Called them and let them know that I had to grind down the washer to fit inside as well.
