No i never said anything to reverse the reflash. I am selling the truck to the dealer with the reflash installed just no s/c

Cool. Sounds like you have a plan. I was just making sure you had all your bases covered. I want the supercharger when you take it off

Only if the dealership knows the truck needs an ECU.
I understand that. It sounds like the dealer/techs will just replace the ECU. It'll either come out of the trade-in price or the resale markup. That's not the buyer of the supercharger's problem to figure out.

I was just looking out (as you are) to make sure he understands

Exactly my point. Would just hate to see someone try to buy the truck after the blower has been removed and have it be a dud.

I may be wrong, but cant you guys just trade ECU's, so OP would have an original one and you'd get the reflashed one?

I'd be all over this if I didn't just blow all my life savings on a new home. :(

I wanna say you are right. Swapping ecus will work as long as its that same 2WD 6speed manual trans. Trd superchargers can be put back to stock setup if you have a stock ecu from another xrunner that you can swap

This is partially accurate. It can't be done in the driveway. There is information like the VIN and the key that needs to be programmed through Techstream. The truck won't start without jumping wires in the obd2 port to trick the ECU.

VIN is not mandatory to change. Paper clip is enough to learn the key for it.
