I originally had 2 jl audio 13w6v2 in a sealed spec box in my Lexus then later decided to cut the box in half to run one between the rear seats. Since I just slapped in the box, it had issues... couldn't recline front seats much, box was blocking the seat belts, and since it was facing towards the front the bass couldn't bounce so it lacked bass. Then I came across the isobaric clamshell style which now I made to subs facing each other and now I can recline much more, there's access to the seat belt buckle, and it's much more louder. The angles were very hard to do I only used a skill saw and jig saw. I'm really happy with it :) now I just gotta carpet it and secure it

Let's hear more about this nitrous.

Bad story..
I originally had a 35 shot finally tried it after a car show from purging all night on the drive back home. I pressed the button could really feel the pull but then it stopped, my bottle was closed!! Ughh my wife that was with me felt it hit too was really cool. But my bottle was really low from purging. So I refilled it but up the shot to a 50 pill. Went out racing would use it, could feel it but not as hard as the 35 shot. Used up most of the bottle that night. Got home to find out the nozzle twisted and wasn’t facing straight into the throttle body. Epic fail but motor still running lol

So, ever gotten back to using the nitrous?

Not yet only cause we don’t have a track here in Hawaii and I don’t go out street racing anymore. Cops are out every night.

I also had a problem with my brakes recently. Orielly rotors

Just got my tensioner mod from roostfactor at TW will install it later this week. Very simple to do but my truck is out of the garage and it’s drizzling. Still need to change my oil soon too...

It’s mainly for smaller pulleys to get more belt on the pulley for less slippage

removed stock bolts

installed bracket with longer bolts and washers and the pulley. I like shiney things lol

It’s probably gained a 1/4 of more belt on the pulley!

Why not just go to a slightly smaller belt?
@NHXRUNNER, I copied this from my post in Tacomaworld. I am the one that makes these. It was something I just did for myself first then people wanted ready to install instead of fabricating their own.
People might be getting some belt slip and not realize it. It's not like you are building boost and then the belt slips dropping boost to 0. It's more intermittent and progressive than that.
The problem is we only have a 5 rib belt to grip an already small pulley at 3". This is with the correct belt wrap of 190° as guided by the idler pulleys. This give a total belt to sc pulley contact area of about 5".

Once you start going smaller with sc Pullies, you not only lose belt contact area from the smaller pulley alone but also due to the position of the non adjustable idler pullies.

Some info...at a constant 180° of belt wrap, pulley contact area is as follows:
3.0. pulley 4.71"
2.85 pulley 4.47"
2.7. Pulley 4.2"
2.5 pulley 3.9"

That is almost an inch less contact area on the 2.5 pulley vs the 3.0 and that is not taking into consideration the extra load (hp) required to drive the sc with the smaller pullies installed or that you get less belt wrap the smaller the pulley.

What the belt wrap mod does is restore some of the lost belt wrap which brings the belt to pulley contact surface area closer to stock.

Hope this clarifies and sorry if I'm cluttering your post XMPLRY808. Bad ass truck!

I'd be all about it if it looked more factory.....just looks completely out of place IMO. I'm only running the 2.825 so I'm not as concerned with the belt slipping though.
