The shock I listed is comparable to the ts703.

Rear
Qa1’s Ts703
extended 19.00”
Compressed 12.38”

Viking d212-r
18.79 in. Extended, 12.04 in. Collapsed, stud,/eye,poly

I chose a slightly shorter version. They have multiple different sizes available if you know your ride height, extended and collapsed measurement.

Front
Qa1 ds502 17.0 in. Extended, 11.625 in. Collapsed, Eyelet/Eyelet,

Viking C210 17.32 in. Extended, 11.57 in. Collapsed, Eyelet/Eyelet

I am not sure where you got your measurements from.
So you’re saying the Vikings are independently adjustable? Might have to check them out.

This thread looks awesome I was wondering where to find these viking shocks for the rear, and what front coil over set up you are going to be running with the new mounting points for the coil overs.(new to the x scene but know a little about vehicles)

Viking front shocks part number C210

So far big improvement in ride I don't get the choppiness I could hear and feel in the front end.

I also inspected the slick and dirty upper plates and they are in like new condition.

What happened to the other style you had made? I'm glad you're not seeing any degradation of the top hats but they still look sketchy AF to me for the long term...

I gave them to a friend to test out.

I actually don’t like the other style. The Xii style brackets look like they will bend in th center. All the pictures I see of them they are actually slightly bent.

Hmm...
On the design in the photo above it's design for a 5/8" bolt. The XII top mounts use a 1/2" bolt. Plus I'm having the hole in the center decreased in size by 1/2" on the production ones to add more strength to the top plate.
If the top of the shock will clear I have have the center hole decrease from 3" to 2". This will add 1" more material to the plate. Must make sure the shock has clearance to cycle before decreasing the center hole size anymore.

The 5/8 bolt and smaller hole will help but even .02 of an inch deflection and the bolt will be stuck. But I could be wrong IDK.

Im surprised a "stance picture" of the truck hasn't been posted.

So this truck has the DJM control arms w/ the coilovers? How does it ride/sit?

So with the coilovers, the DJM kit actually sits higher than usual?

I have the coil overs cranked up. So I have about a 2.5 in drop in the front. I would go lower but if I put the 3 inch blocks in the back I bottom out a lot.

I would notch the frame as I have the notch, but in Hawaii you won’t pass recon if you cut the frame.

So what do you have in the rear? just 2" blocks w/ the frame notch?

First I want to thank XRU for the help.
Now I would like to know who's interested in buying DIY coilover top mounts.
I will need to get as many orders as possible to make an order with the new fabricator I found.
The prototype below is up for sale and per the fabricator he changed the bolt from 1/2" to a 5/8" bolt. The price for the set below is $200 plus $7.50 shipping. It took more than $200 and more than a few cases of beer to get the set below made. Any other sets will have to be ordered. I don't want to put anyone in an uncomfortable position so you tell me what you want to put down for a non-refundable deposit to make an order. The more we can order the better the price will be for all!
Truth be told guys I'm staying with stock suspension for now. My disability pay has run out because of my knee replacement surgeries so I can't make any comments about how the coilovers work and or ride.

Could you please make a new thread for a list of people that want to buy the mount. I would like to update this in the future, it is already moved off of its original topic allot. I do hope people purchase the mounts.

Also if you do end up purchasing a top mount I have a set of QA1's for sale if anyone is interested. Located in Hawaii
