BTW: I had the XRU logo on my Coupe TRD air cleaner cover... not photochopped!

Got it all in there and she runs! Just waiting on fuel pump so I can start being stupid. Its an mk1 kit version with ucon added. I actually like the look more as its more stealthy than the mk3 version with big intercooler. The water cooler sits behind the lower grill and I didn't even have to take the bumper off to complete install. Working on these trucks is a pleasure

Update: Installed URD DW255lph fuel pump kit and pillar gauge pod. I was having a low boost issue. Turned out my procharger bypass valve was junk and I could blow right through it. Swapped in a new HKS style bov and it makes 6psi with 80mm pulley. This is the smaller C30 rotrex from the mk1 kit. Truck runs great, sounds dope and is actually quick. The raised redline with the ucon is everything and makes power all the way up, although not as much as a C38. Not going to wait long before upgrading to a 75mm pulley and tune. Ill get a video soon.

Scratched a few more thingies off the list: Pillar pod with Defi fuel and boost gauges, they match the factory cluster pretty nicely. Added a funny shift knob and EJECT button cig lighter plug. Also installed AFR gauge down in the junk pocket which fits perfect. I wanted to keep it out of my sightline as its always flashing #'s. I only look at it occasionally to make sure all is kosher. Turns out she's rich at WOT so smaller pulley on the way lol

lol....Thanks man. Trust me, I had problems in the beginning.
The uploader doesn't work so you have to use a 3rd party host and then the insert link tool. I'm using imgbb.com , upload photo, select embed codes, copy BBCode medium linked, paste code into here using link tool.

New stuff! I was searching for a used 3" exhaust to no avail. Was going to make one myself but it would have ended up costing almost as much as the urd mk3 and not been as nice. So I just got it, along w a 75mm pulley :D. The muffler is huge and doesn't have a brand on it, but is really nice. Looking inside it Y's into dual perforated chambers. The exhaust tip is also resonated. It fits great as expected and the tip sticks past the ground fx just a bit. It's waaay less drone while cruising and quieter in general with more bass. Some of the rasp is still there tho, time will tell if I add another resonator.

My old borla system will be for sale soon, i took a sound clip of it too.

this is awesome!! you did a great job! glad you took the time to do the door jams, tailgate, bed, etc. you even addressed the rubber and plastics...my hats off to you.

it is a great color in person...
as soon as my wife saw one of these we traded in her blue 2016 texas ed. tacoma in for a trd sport in cavalry blue lol. we got the black out factory option and had our black tx ed wheels installed with big knobby bfg tires. it looks amazing with the predator steps too.

its funny because i was considering re-painting my 95 mkiv supra this color too...either that or the other new toyota colors, voodoo blue or cement....both amazing colors.

Thanks blue xr! I figured if I'm going to do it, might as well do it right. So far no regrets. The only remaining thing I want to do paint wise is spray the bottom of the hood and visible parts of engine bay satin black. You're right, this color looks fantastic with black accents, hopefully I can afford to do wheels someday haha.

Weekend update: So the truck runs great now and rips tires all through 2nd making 10psi at rev limiter. Took the gf cruising last night and gave her a scare and me a smile haha. New mk3 exhaust subdues the noise pretty well so it's not a cop magnet.

I had been having an issue with over fueling and just not feeling too ballsy. My afr gauge was showing high 9's low 10's at WOT. I'm running trd 455 injectors with a 750 7th injector. Unplugged the 7th injector and it was still about the same. Spoke with Gadget and he suggested all new O2s. I also realized my DTLT's didn't have the lower collector bung and my upstream sensor had only been sniffing 1 runner on each bank. I added a bung and harness extension to each side of my urd Y-pipe so the up/downstream are like 2 inches apart and all new sensors. I also added the genuine nanoweb air filter that urd tunes the s/c kits with. The size is different than the cheapo spectre one I had and sits fully behind the intake shield. This combo of tweaks has it running the best so far. WOT doesn't go wildly rich anymore and still shows fuel not being a prob w 7th injector disconnected. Im running out of upgrades lol.

The next things I want to do performance wise are throttle body and a more aggressive tune if its possible. Would it be better to go with the 70 or 76mm TB adapter? I know bigger is nice but also like stockish driveability. Any thoughts?

Happy 4th!

So after doing some research I went with the 70mm TB swap. It's a good affordable, quick upgrade. Throttle response is a little more punchy and it may have added a few horsies with no negative effects. Would be nice if URD included a gasket with the adapter plate kit but RTV it is.
