I've been running the 2nd Gen 4 pack leafs for over 7 years now. I really like them. I had blocks in the back and it just rode like crap with them.
It would be interesting to see if the 6 pack TRD Off-Roads work. I don't see why they wouldn't since our axles are mounted on top of the leafs...
Still here. The X is still the daily driver, but I got a big Dodge Ram Cummins that will turn into my daily this summer hopefully. The X will then be put in the garage for some "updates".
I have issues with my BRM peeling off in certain areas. Mostly on the inside of the door jambs and on the fender walls where the hood sits. I emailed Toyota multiple times, but only got the answer that it was out of warranty so they couldn't help me with it.
I haven't heard of any issues...
I know there are a couple of guys over on TacomaWorld that have done it. Some of the parts may be different to make it a X-Runner, but I imagine the process would be the same.
I think it would look awesome to see a SWB 2012+ style X. Be sure to post pictures of it when you get it all done up.
Well I just hit the 200,000km mark yesterday. In my head I still think that I just bought it last year and still remember seeing 3km on the odometer when I picked it up. It continues to run like a charm and I am confident that it will last another 200,000km.
All is good man, still driving the X daily, so I'm just about to break 200/k. I still have a Tru-Trac and Trac Bar that I need to install.....maybe when it gets warmer out.
I'm still here. Daily routine is to check the site for any updates. Sadly, though I don't have many updates to give. Truck hasn't had anything done to it in the last couple of years. Maybe someday I'll get the TruTrack in and the Traction Bar installed.....
That is one awesome looking shop you're building. I'm in the process of saving up to build one of my own. Maybe not as big, I was thinking of 36' x 48'. If I make it any bigger it will only lead to getting more stuff to put into it...haha. Going to be putting a car lift in there?
Keep us...
I would be really interested in seeing how this works. I've heard nothing but good things about the Cerakote products.
I plan on doing some engine parts this summer with their other products.
