Think of it this way, TRD is a ROOTS type blower, URD is centrifical, The best URD blower 1/4 mile time we know of is 14.5 with 9 psi and drag slicks... Xrunnit just ran 13.99 in the 1/4 with less than 6psi and stock tires:rockon:

Yeah that time of 14.5 will be broken I can promise you that:biggrin:

Prove me wrong but Jonathan was insistent that that time was about all he could do :dontknow:

Jonathan trapped 100mph though. With that kind of trap and that ET, either the truck has absolutely no low-end or he spun real bad off the line.

And there is an access cab or double cab that ran like a 13.4 with the URD kit @ 10psi. Now noone has seen this slip, nor is there any other information available. But supposedly that is the fastest 1GR 1/4 recorded to date.

Now i'm sure there is quicker somewhere, but those times haven't surfaced yet.

To me that is just hear-say because that person has never even posted a thread here, or on customtacos. 1.1 seconds faster is a huge leap of faith when there has been no proof IMO

Jaxchrisfl is running 14.6 N/A...seriously think 8psi is not going to bring that down a little? URd is capable of 13s no problem...In the fall you shall see...Stay tuned my friend

personally I think jason will bust a much better time with the urd kit.. he has been to the track and he is very comfortable at the drag strip.. his truck is a monster.. I think you will see he will have some good times..

Also even though I dont want to admit defeat.. I think if we ever go to the track together youll find jason with a better times.. I think the urd kit will perform better on the track with the lesser tq bottom end will allow for hook up and the trd unit you have to feather..

Dont get me wronge I will run that young man for all thats its worth but I think then urd set up is the way to go.. Now on the street, I have paired up with justin when we had about the same mods.. we found that trd sprinted at first but the urd kit had more on the high end..

Honestly if I had to do it all over agian I'd go with urd.. its way more tune about for performance.. pulleys, intakes, blower sizes, ect.. Ive seen both and that my 2 cents..

One truck and time slip is what you base the performance of the URD kit off of? please man, its in the driver. There are not as many people with the URD who are willing to go the track as there have been with the TRD. You can have as much power as you want, but it wont drive the truck for you. If i had the money for the URD right now, i would be well into the 13s, no doubt about it.
