First one.. well.... I'm on #2.

But I'm about 15k on my 2nd trans, no issues with it yet.

Just updating my post from Jan25, 08, still no problems. It chunked second on downshifts (never a problem on upshifts) I think like twice since the switch to Mobil-1 gear lube, but that was within a couple months of the swap. After that, it's been fine.

You can change the fluid, but the 07-08 seem to have problems with clutch breaking. The disc seperates at the splines.

06, 37k miles. Occaisonally a teensy bit reluctant to up-shift in to 3rd, but never grinding in any gear. T-bearing barely chirps. No pedal squeak. Knock on wood!

Originally voted no, but I blew the clutch thru the bellhousing at 27,090 miles and replaced with Fidenza flywheel and Centerforce clutch. The tranny was rebuilt cause the tranny has to be disassemblied to replace the bellhousing at my cost. Started grinding in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear a couple months afterward. New tranny replaced under warrenty at 31,386.

'08 w/48,000 or so miles and no problems yet possibly thanks to synthetic fluid :top:

And, at the very lest, a weekly basis it goes through redline shifts, high RPM acceleration/deceleration for at least 5-10min intervals, multiple-gear down-shifts (rev-matched and shift-locked), clutch kicks on occasion, and the very rare maybe twice since I've owned the truck, the butt-clenching GEAR-GRIND :ahhhhh:

I just came back from a drive through Pacific Coast Highway and hit up Latigo Canyon, Decker Canyon, Mullholand, stunt, and back through :driver:

Would've gone to Angeles Crest and Mt. Wilson too if the stupid fires weren't so crazy that cops have to block off the roads and not let people like me enjoy a nice night drive

I guess I need to take mine to dealer since under hard acceleration mine grinds going into 5th gear. Bought the truck with less than 10k on it and now have just over 15k.
