insurance? for a window? my deductable is 500, and a window costs 90...and i needed my truck, bought a window, tinted it, truck running same day...

and yeah..thought about going darker, my back & back sides are 5%, but my fronts have been 20% all this time, i kind of like being able to see outside, but it has its ups and downs...it's staying at 20 for now

oh well i didn't know the costs of getting stuff replaced. just figured you would have used your insurance.

you have to pay your deductable for a window? thats weird. in SC all window claims are $0 deductable as many as you want a year.

well i dont know how it is from state to state or one insurance company to another but usualy you can claim window damage on your comprehensive insurance much lower deductable if any than if you claim it on your collision
collision being your fault
comprehensive being a total accident

just the whole process would have been a hastle for me, i tried to make a police report, and they told me since i didnt have a suspect they wouldnt send an officer to my house. they said i could do an over the phone report, and that would take a couple days to process, then they would send me a copy. like wtf....i needed my truck the next day to go to school. i just fixed it myself that same day...im still going to make a police report for the stuff stolen, but im not even sure if i have theft insurance.

and the insurance company said you had to pay your deductable to get the glass replaced?
i would think any kind of vandalism or hit and run type of thing would be under comprehensive.... who is your insurance company?

geico sucks so bad.... ( i work at a body shop) i have geico too... and the coverage sucks balls but i usualy fix my own stuff and dont claim anything.... you should switch to nationwide and get the factory parts endorsment that way you always get toyota parts and dont get hack job aftermarket parts

most people dont know what they sign when they LOWER THEIR RATES . it means you just agreed to aftermarket or used parts.... and incase you didnt know every USED part in the world came off of a totaled car ..

Your Renter's or Home Owner's insurance would cover the property taken from your vehicle.

One day last summer after a car show I left the garage dr open that evening. I heard the neighbors dog barking and didn't think too much of it. An hour later I went to shut the garage and noticed my wifes camry dr was open. Thieves had taken her xm satellite radio and there were greasy paw prints on the X from them looking inside. Never found the radio but that ish has bothered me ever since. Be careful bro...too many peeps looking to steal nowadays.

If you are renting a place a don't have renter's insurance you are SOL. I would highly suggest getting some. It was like 5 bucks a month to insure all my stuff before I bought a house. USAA FTW.
