SignUp Now!yea i replaced all the 02 sensors with the right ones, got them from toyota...i looked and everything was good, but im not sure
You still haven't clearly answered the O2 question completely. If you got a left and right wraf sensor and a left and right o2 sensor, it would cost you around $600+. Not if you just got 4 O2 sensors.
WTF is a "wraf sensor" ???? is that next to the muffler bearing?..
to the main guy when did the problem start? did it start after a mod or just random
would an O2 sensor cause a motor to go in to limp mode? i think that it would go in to default and dump in fuel so it wont lean out....
were all the mods done PROPERLY? or were they done with the "that's good enough" attitude
reading through all this is really confusing there is one guy with 50 people telling him what to do.
as to Toyota saying this will fix it and it didn't now its there fault.. i wouldn't say so.... if your just Joe walking in and tell them whats going on they can tell you pretty much anything will fix it.. or say "that will probablyl fix the problem"
hope you get this all figured out......
ok so wraf.... wide range air fuel http://www.aa1car.com/library/wraf.htm
so these trucks have this instead of an o2????

exact cost per toyota =
2 x wraf ($229.96) = $459.92
+ 2 x rear o2 sensors ($158.96) = $317.92

i was just at toyota getting some sealant for my oil pan and that was what they quoted me and he said the part number for the o2 sensors and wraf sensor differ by 2 numbers lol. :stupid:
also the sensor itself looks a little diff, on the one i just bought the wraf is not flat on the tip of the sensor it had kinda like another rod coming out of the flat part, the o2 sensor is kinda flat at the tip. Were just trying to make sure its the correct ones bro not bashing or anything. I bought the first one from toyota and they sold me an o2 sensor and told me it was correct. turns out they were WRONG!!! lol
Let us know bro
Exactly!! You have to replace the wraf sensors WITH wraf sensors. You cannot stick 02 sensors in place of the wraf sensors!
Did you replace the wraf sensor with a new wraf sensor?? That alone is like $260
Besides that, re-do the wiring on the maf extensions and do it right! Solder, heat shrink, good equal length connections.
Man, I have the very same O2 sensors and AFR sensors here at URD for a lot less than that.....
G
hey im sorry g i didnt kno i could have gotten them cause the o2 sensor part on urd is confuising
hmmm i replaced my spark plugs like 2 months ago
yea the trucks fixed now, but i might start replacing spark plugs & wires, and sum other small stuff just to reamp her lol
