Was leaving work this morning, truck started fine. Drove about 100 yards, it stalled and check engine light came on. Started right back up but was running rough. I was able to make it to the local auto store were they put one of those tester things on the truck, and the diagnosis was a faulty Mass air flow sensor. Does this sound right? Thanks D.

Be very careful while cleaning it so you won't damage it or you will be buying a new one.

My check engine light is on constantly. No engine mods. Toyota techs say all is good with motor, just live with it. Huh. I just use black electrical tape now. No light.

Ok, cleaned it, and check engine light is still on. Also noticed my exhaust smells really bad, don't know if this has anything to do with it ??

What does it smells like? bad eggs ? if thats the case then you might have a bad cat.
A bad MAF sensor can cause the engine to run rich witch in turn can damage the cats.

Get the CEL checked again. And unless you reset the light, the light will stay on. Clear the code and see if it comes back.

Either with a scan tool or disconnect the battery for 10 mins.

Disconnect the battery for about 10 min and it will reset. Truck will run rough since it will have to relearn it peramiters. This usually takes a couple drive cycles ( about two 5 mile trips)
