I pimp hoes.

You sell gardening equipment?

I am impressed at all the technical expertise here. Engineers, machinists, auto techs, etc. Me, I'm an educational psychologist teaching (research methods and assessment---booooring, right) at the University of Georgia and overseeing several million dollars worth of achievement test development and scoring contracts.

And here's a big :top: to those serving our country. Stay safe.

I manage 2 locally owned pawn shops, and I can say it is the first job I've had that I actually enjoy going to.

my job sounds elementary to some of you guys. I am a home theater installer for Best Buy.

Some of you guys have same kick ass jobs and those that are serving, Thank you.

I used to install home theaters and home alarms at a place here in Sacramento, I got a tech question4 ya... I got a 70" Sharp Aquos Quatron 3D LED, and I got a home theater room 17"x10" (tv and viewing areas are obviously set up furthest points of room) and I have two rows of theater seats...I have the Sharp 3D glasses (active 3D), and noticed that sometimes when I am sitting in my back row, roughly 17 ft from screen, the 3D seems to turn on and off at random...i have the glasses fully charged, and there is no obstructions to hinder the signal...am I out of range? If so, is there a signal booster for the 3D, or better glasses? I did just buy a pair of the latest model Sharp 3D glasses and they seem to not cut out at all...Whats your input? Also, whats the settings that you would recommend for my TV (the room can be sealed off with no external lights, so its like a true cinema experience if that helps...) Thanks for your time...:blurock:

Ever notice that the different colored "balloons" down there seem to inflate in that environment?
I've ran into this a time or two in my line of work.

No but I have seen many small glass tubes coming from a tap. "Tap" is from a house, apt's or business into the sewer main.

Before I work for this crappy dept. I drove garbage trucks for the city. I pick-up a few of your buddies with the gold badges when the truck was empty. Your buddy would get in and instruct me to pick-up and empty a single garbage can into the truck. I would then dump out what was in the single can onto a parking lot and watch him go through the trash. It was interesting line of work.
The city bids for collection areas with-in the city against privet contractors. City Solid Waste Management would push it's employes very hard. If an employee got into two accidents with in a year they could and would be fired. Ask me how I know, I was fired and rehired by water dept.

I've jumped around a lot on the different sites up here which ranges from working on MASSIVE pumps to ones that fit in your hand, steam turbines, gearboxes and compressors.

Yeah the hours are LONG, my current shift is 7 on 7 off.
7days, 7off, 7nights, 7off, all 12 hr shifts lol

There's a lot of beer in the greater Pac NW and I'm helping out. I'm a brewer, making beer at a brewpub. Have my own tap in the brewery. Pour and drink a beer with the owners once in awhile.
