Just might be my next investment! Great write up.

i do agree about the wires though. I think it could have been a little cleaner design and still kept its efficiency.

Thanks man-
yeah I did a pretty rush job conecting it and letting the wires sprawled out like that. LOL got too excited to see if it works or not. I always try to clean up my mods and make sure it looks decent. Been so busy with my new baby gurl. (sigh....2 babies to tend to, gotta love um)
Ill fix it up and post some pix as soon as i got the time.

cause hes hungry for octopusi

LOL , nah bro, the octopussie is still the same. im tying to find some wire dividers like the ones used for spark plug wires. I saw some at checkers but the holes are to small . have any ideas where else?

I dyno tested a kit just like that on a 2001 Tacoma with a TRD Supercharger.

No change at all on the dyno.

G

So you're saying it produces no more power than a VTEC sticker?

Glad you found that, cause there is no way i would have been able to explain how to do that without the pics.

IMO if you put the ziptie heads "down" it would look cleaner though

First time i saw it done was on a buddies 80's ford truck that he put a bigblock into. Now that you mention it i remember seeing that on the power block also

LOL yeah my TRD Lic plate frame boost more power than this battery ground mod. But than again its usefull on circulating the voltage on the battery.

They showed that on SpikeTV's Power Block.
Couldn't find the episode, but it's like the once on this thread:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/261888-spark-plug-wire-dividers.html

very interesting:hmmmm2:Hmmmm. thanks for the find bro.

NRG Universal Grounding System

• Brighter headlights
• Longer battery life
• Reduced audio noise
• Increased torque
• Increased throttle response
• Improved fuel efficiency.

Increased Torque and gas mileage (fuel efficiency) - really??

While I'm sure it will improve grounding and possilbly reduce audio noise, I don't see how it's gonna increase torque, mileage, or throttle response. You'd have to have had a horrible ground and charging system beforehand for THAT to happen.....

Lol thats what I said, "Increased Torque and gas mileage (fuel efficiency) - really??" I guess I got caught up in the hype and just got it:hmmmm2:.
Yea I took it out. I ran with it for about a month lmao  then I sold it to a kid with a nissan hardbody. Overall the headlights didnt dim as much going on 1st gear on a steep hill. Thats about it.

I bet Toyota grounded these trucks just fine , if you have a stereo then it might help with the dim just a bit
