I just finished watching the Powerblock. They had a segment on Bullydog. They have come out with a tuner for the Tacomas. According to the website, it works with all Tacomas through the current model year, NA and FI. Might be good news for some. http://www.bullydog.com/

$1000 , wow I know some turners are pricey but was imagining a smaller number! What's the added power?

That kind of power is not worth the money, with tuning capabilities with additions of other mods, it would have potential.

A lot of the features don't apply to the Tacoma. Sorry to burst your bubble. That 25 hp ONLY applies to the Supercharger 4.0L. Gains without the SC is about 6-10 hp.

Good thing I have a 08. Sucks for 09+

The whole point is even with its minimal gains it gives 09+ owners a tuning option outside of hardwiring in a EMS. Glad you have an 08 congrats on that.

never said it was viable all i said is it was an option outside of hardwiring an EMS. To some the option of a plug an plug tuner might out weight the power gains to cost ratio. But im glad everyone is jumping down my throat for defending the bullydog. Until Dezord or URD creates an option of tuning this is the only plug and play option for an 09+ tacoma and after being on this forum a while people are scared to instal a URD cold air intake let alone hardwire in an EMS. lets be real here for an 09+ owner with boost this might be a decent option to get some extra power and delete some factory settings until someone else offers something else its all you got outside of cutting factory ECU wires.

Well said, the vendors here are great and doesn't mean that other companies don't make good products and the fact that this is the only plug and play tuner it had value but that does overcome affordability, great for some but that kind if money can go to many other mods for those that aren't boosted!

i just ask the same question ... i also seen it on power block and was really excited about that, but when i seen what they clam i was really disapponited with there result and $1,000 for a freaking tuner, that a 1,000 i could us towards a supercharger if u ask me. and they don't even have it for the 05 thru 08 that's a total ripe off if u ask me ..... plus this guys just started to work on Toyota idk if i would really trust them .............. URD FTW

I find it hard to believe that those numnuts got there hands on any 09 plus toyota info... screw them n lets keep feeding our funds to those that r actually trying to do something good for the 09 plus. Our vendors!

Like I said before, I think 1k for a handheld tuner is rediculous. I don't even really consider it an option for 09 and up guys just because of the cost to gain ratio

i would say power to money is not there...
$1000=25hp
$.97=.024hp

then again if you look at the TRD SC.......
$4000=69hp 235hp to 305hp toyo specs...
$.97=.017hp

maybe i did something wrong? all i did was divide everything by 2.... So if this is true then at the end of the day maybe it is not a "too" bad of a deal....

what am i saying the TRD wine is worth way more on the "cool" factor.. haha
