This truck definitely is not made to hold car seats. The fact that they put the latch system on the drivers side rear seat is just insane. All of the car seats I've looked at in the store have maybe a 3-4" difference in space required.

As you can see in the picture with the car seat in the back I have the front seat inclined as far forward and move as far forward as it can go making the front seat uninhabitable. Having the car seat in the front requires the front seat to be moved as far back and inclined as far back as possible. Making the back seat uninhabitable even my 4 year old nephew had issues getting back there.

The car seat is a Baby Trend EZ Lock Car Seat.

Each of my kids had a 10" sub to massage their feet! :top:
Now they are taller and I have no subs in the X.

That looks like a great solution.

Though I wonder if you could take the rear seats from the first gen tundra and put them into the taco since they about around same dimensions. Those seats look like they would be better to handle a baby seat and would also be an upgrade for other people to sit on.

you know u can lock on the seat without the base right. i ran into the same problem and had to take the base off. once off u can seat belted down no problem.
then again it depends on yur baby seat is make that it can be hold down with out a base. good lcuk and ba careful

I was planning on putting tundra rear seats, or ext cab seats. Hoping someone did it here first, but haven't seen one.

I have a 2 year old, and another baby in the works.......needs to be carseat friendly.

That tundra seat looks way more comfortable than what we have in our trucks. Anyone got a final answer on if they fit with little to no modifications?
I think I can fit all three of my kids back there with that.

We put a Chicco next fit on the rear passenger seat (it's a rear facing seat) and the front seat still has enough room for my wife. I doubt any of those rear facing seats would bases would fit.

If you do a forward facing todler seat, I recommend removing the headrest as my seat would not seat level on the cushion and pushed the seat forward make my son lean. Best mod I have done so far and it makes it safer!

my 08 seats fold works great with booster seats not so great with small baby that need a full car seat. These tundra seats look way more confy for my kids. Has anyone done this?
