I'm looking into getting a electric rc truck or car to mess around with little to no maintenance. I want to use it by myself and my nephews n nieces. What y'all think about Traxxas E-Maxx, E-Revo, Slash, Rustler??? Preferably 1/10 scale. I want speed, moderate handling, capable of good jumps. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

I would love to have a traxxas revo 3.3 but I can't afford it right now. They're bad ass though.

i have a revo 3.3 and it's a moose

honestly though the 1/16 revo / rally are more of a blast unless you are in serious offroad conditions

~$250, aftermarket parts are all over and they go like stink!

plus batteries - they just work

Yeah. Check 1/16 mini erevo

Goes like stink. Will do standstill backflips with 2s's with no mods

Very very fun beast!

Just ordered a Traxxas Summit from Tower Hobbies. Just started searching the past couple months and decided to get back into it. Another mod bug kickin in:rockon:

I have a revo 3.3, nitro is fun but very time consuming. Certainly not plug in and go, I have been thinking to either concert to electric or get a revo platinum brushless.

Seems that's what your after but like hiflyer said the 1/16 trucks are crazy fast as well and launch off jumps!

I've been out of it for too long now so I don't even know whats out there anymore.
I've always liked traxxas stuff. Built well, and plenty of aftermarket goodies for the modding addicts LOL. I don't think you could go wrong with anything in the traxxas line up. That 1/16 erevo look like bad ass little machine.
If the 1/10 Erevo is in the budget those things are sweet, but I bet you could hop up a mini 1/16 erevo and it would be just as much fun if not more, for a cheaper price tag.

Well from my personal experience I've been through a good handful of the trqxxas line cuz there's good support for them at your local hobby shop... 1/16 r nice but they can break a bit easier than your 1/10 scale. The one truck I would recommendto u would be the slash. It's fun as heck. N is everything u asked about.. the others r to big. Slash is 4x4 or can be rwd but I recommend 4x4 for what u want. If u do get one Lmk I got a box full of parts for it... Also first thing I recommend to upgrade would be the arms. Get the rpm ones.

Have fun...
