So yesterday check engine light came on, got code P0103 for maf sensor. Cleaned the sensor, and air filter, cleared the code and truck ran fine. This morning on way to work truck was idleing low, and then stalled at a light. Check engine light came on again. codes P0171 and P0174 came up. Fuel injection system too lean in banks 1 and 2. Wtf does this mean, and what could be the cause? Thanks in advance, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How many miles on your truck? Ever changed the fuel filter?

Yes URD, been on truck since 2006, this just started.

Cleared codes, ran truck for about 5 miles, ran fine. Shut it off, restarted it now I got code P0103 maf sensor?

You have anyone near you that you could switch maf sensors with to see if that fixes it?

Usually if it's both banks or global could be a vacuum leak I'd let someone who knows what they are doing take a look at it so you don't chase your tail around

Well truck been running good for 24 hrs. now, cleared codes, and CEL has not come back. (fingers crossed) Replaced pcv valve and hose, cleaned throttle body, cleaned maf sensor again, and repositioned the air filter. These URD filters are so damn touchy, got to be on there just right. Anyway thank you all for the advice. CEL's are enough to drive a person crazy! :top:
