At 155K with 1,000 pounds of solar powered camper on it, I think it is time to upgrade and replace the stock clutch. It's been a little weird on engagement off road lately, kind of "lurchy" even when in gear.

Of course I ordered the kit with the TO bearing upgrade, ARP hardware, should go in next week.

Welcome back man. Hadn't seen you in a while.

Hopefully the flywheel is still good and just needs to be resurfaced, not replaced.

The dealer has a flywheel pulled aside just in case, I skipped the lightweight flywheel option as I don't think it would have been a good move for my setup.

Overall it is good, I still get a tad of ping when at lower elevations in certain RPM ranges. I try not to go over 4K anymore, rarely hit 4,500. Also no high load sustained boost over 4psi, I'll drop it down a gear and keep it at 0-2 PSI on a big hill climb. But yeah, it still screams for a truck and camper, LOL!

I have 155K on the motor now, I am thinking about the future, saw URD sells built motors but man, w/ a URD SC, headers, exhaust, that could hit $20,000 all in.

At least the UCON is priced right, that & a proper tune would get rid of any lean issues....

Stage 3 URD clutch w/ new bearing sleeve and ARP hardware installed....damn....that's a nice clutch!

It's entirely daily drivable and will be fine off road, just a bit heavier pedal effort and smoooooth as can be on engage / disengage. I took a look at the old clutch parts, no unusual wear, probably had about 1.5mm left on it at most so good timing I'd say. No leak on the main seal but had a small one on the backup sensor in the tranny, fixed it and had new fluid put in.

Another fine URD product installed!
