Well... I finally installed the 2.55 pulley to go with my NST kit a couple weeks ago. There is a definite power increase through out the rpms compared to the 2.7 pulley and NST. As for heat soak, I'm not experiencing any more than having the 2.7pulley. After doing some research, Eaton says the max is 14,000 rpms... Stiegemeier says they spin m90s 18,500 all day long.

So I decided to hit the middle and running my rev limiter to 6000 to make 16,200 rpms. I'm happy with the results thus far. Even though I'm running 16,200; I'm still hitting only 7 psi because I'm at 5500 ft elevation. This is in 90 degree weather too. I think the filtered water and purple ice is definitely helping vs regular toyota coolant. Regardless, my torque and get up and go is awesome and giving all these modified subi's a run for their money... Plans in the making for better cooling for this blower:top:

TRON how are you tuning the smaller pulley?

I have the 2.8 and NST and now have my second "forged engine" and would love to see what this truck could make. I have nitrous also through my blower and believe it would handle the extra heat VERY well. Just always worried about over spinning the blower.

I didn't change my calibration file with the smaller pulley. Granted I'm only at 7 psi anyway. The mustang community has been maxing out the m90 blower to 20,000 rpms. The part about Eaton that doesn't make sense to me is they say max 14,000 at 15 psi. My question how could you possibly get 15 psi at such a low SC rpm? I plan to do a complete maintenance update on the blower coming soon. I'm coming up on 50k with my blower. Curious to see how she looks bearing wise

You're probably right... Now with higher boost there needs to be better intercooling:top: Toyota tech are you running e85 on 11.5 lbs boost?

yes im running e-85 with the 2.55" URD pulley and a custom 7th injector setup. Looking into better intercooling, found a couple companies that can make custom intercoolers that will fit in the stock location, its just all about $ now.

Is an Earl's cooler out of the question? They have a HUGE variety. 1GRracer and I are using them for our oil cooler kits.

A bigger intercooler is definitely the way to go and probably a bigger reservoir bottle too... It only holds a quart throughout the whole system. The heat exchanger is always cold to the touch even on super hot days.

E85 would be nice; just gotta get Scott on board for that one with the UCon and i like to integrate a zeitronix eta-2 kit...
