No special way to et a clean engine bay buddy. Hard work a set of brushes and some soap and a hose. Then detail it with your favorite gloss type coating if you so desire. His is also clean because it on has 36k on the odometer lol.

It was easy for me since i bought the truck brand new. I just clean it when it starts to get dirty instead of waiting for it to overcome the entire bay.

There are some very good products on the market. Depending on how bad your engine bay is, a good degreaser, wax and plastic dressing will work wonders.

Plastic dressing? I got old oil stains on I think its the block, but am not sure. the pics don't do too good.

So this thread started long ago.... Are you still selling your truck? How many miles are on it?

36,045 miles are currently on the odometer. That may go up slightly depending on the weather. It is still for sale. :top:

The paint on these do fade of not kept up with. You should post pictures in the photo section on the forum. The dealerships carry those strips.
