The weld on that flange looks like a machine. :top: Are you planning on adding a cutout where that block off plate is? Also, I don't see a flange on the opposite end of that tubing. Slip joint back there, or another option?

Unfortunately the welding wasn't my work...it isn't my strong point. I had it done by a guy in the woodlands. Yeah there is going to be cutout.

Yeah I've been in Houston coming up on 5yrs now. I work at Advantage BMW downtown but live up on the NW side of town off 290. Not much new going on with the build. I have a ton of parts here and not a lot of time. Paint on the grill should be done this week and hopefully I'll have the clutch in soon.

Went in to work yesterday afternoon and installed the URD stage 3 clutch, URD throw out bearing kit, and swapped my URD SS kit over to a new OE lever because mine was shot and had tons of play. Took me about 4hrs taking my time including lots of guys coming over wondering what I was doing. Truck is so damn easy to work on in comparison to what I'm used to....so much room! Don't mind my modified clutch alignment tool, my dog ate it.

Did I mention I hate you? If not, I hate you! I'm just jealous of that lift, shop and ease of working on your vehicle!
Great job man! Keep on modding....

Have you had the chance to drive it with the new clutch yet?

Yeah I drove it home right after I did the install. Probably have 100 miles on it at this point. It almost feels as if it engages easier and smoother than the stock clutch. Biggest difference is the new shift lever. I guess I was used to how sloppy it got over time.

Really busy lately between work and race season prep but I finally got my grill back from paint last week and its on the truck. I think it turned out pretty good! Although it will look much better with the intercooler behind it.
