I bought this from a 17 year old who would prefer a honda instead... it has approximately 191K miles on it.... a 1996 Toyota Celica GT 5spd!

There is this module that seems to be piggybacked into everything.... I'm not sure what it is, but it hangs under the driver's side console ...

What happens when I turn on my High Beams the passenger low beam turns off and the inner high beam light never turns on. Any ideas?

If i remember right from my 6gc days the trans should bolt right up. I had the same problem with my lights till i replaced the battery but i did not have hid's so its probably not the same

They're not HIDS... so I'm not sure what is going on

Yeah me too... but then the passenger window motor went bad and I'm not sure what broke, so I'm replacing the motor. Hopefully that fixes it???.... But to make matters worse it won't start now. It cranks and cranks but never ignites.... Not sure whats going on... Could be plug wires, plugs.... I removed them today, to check for spark. When I put it all back together, it turn over after... then i turned off the car and tried to restart but nada ...:hmmmm2:

agree!!! I Owned one for about a month it was my friends 3sgte/5speed swap .. i have his e153 trans rebuild that he was goin to use to upgrade from his stock trans. im selling it if you interested lol its just taking up space and i gave up looking for either an mr2 sw20 that needs a trans i can put this thing on lol

But to get it to work in a Celica GT you need a set of GT4 ST205 shifter cables FYI
