My right turn signal has been going off on it's own intermittently, it's been happening more often lately and it's starting to get irritating. First, I thought it's probably the flasher relays, I replaced it with another and the same thing still happens. I tried hitting the relays while the turn signal is going off on its own thinking maybe the right turn signal relay is stuck, but that doesn't seem to work either.
I do notice it seems to happen more often if I have the truck sitting for a few days without starting it, so I thought maybe it was a low voltage problem causing the relays to go crazy, but that wasn't it either. If it were low voltage causing the relay to go nuts, the problem should go away after driving the truck, but the problem also happens intermittently while driving. While the right turn signal is going off on its own, I can hit the turn signal arm down, turning on the left signal at the same time, haha, that makes me think the turn signal arm isn't the problem. Anyone else have this problem ? anyone with this problem ever figure out what the solution is ? I haven't really dug in to the truck to try figure this out, YET, but I think I will soon.
