So I have tried to solve this issue on my own but with no luck. Truck is a 06 X. Spec-u headers and full exhaust with rear o2 simulator and a urd MAF calibrator. I have already replaced the rear passenger side o2 sensor which changed nothing. I also swapped the sensors from the drivers side and nothing changed. I cleaned my maf and nothing. I checked the wiring best I could and I didn't see any pinched wires or anything out of the ordinary. I have no other codes either.

Have you checked for a faulty engine temp sensor or high fuel pressure?

My engine temp hasn't changed sits at 188. Same as always. Have not checked for high fuel pressure but don't have the means to check my fuel pressure unfortunatly.

I have the same code. I have dtlt with 02 simulators. I have had them for about 4,000 miles and then the code came on. I parked it for the winter tho and haven't been able to figure it out. I know the ravs have the same problem and it turns out you the a/f sensor bank 1 is the problem but throwing the bank2 code.

Oh that's odd. I haven't messed with the bank one sensor one yet.

I hadn't done any mod for awhile motor wise. It just randomly came up. The only thing I had done was swap my seats but that should have anything to do with a o2 sensor code lol. I was trying to put a stock tune into the maf calibrator to see if that fixed it but my cord wouldn't connect otherwise I haven't messed with the maf calibrator and it's been on for about a year.

I thought that the downstream sensors only were to monitor the health of your cats? And I have a o2 simulator for that.

The sensors have to be functioning properly for the 02 sim to work. Bad sensor will still give you a code @Gadget

I'm willing to bet it's the o2 sim. Does the light come and go? I know when my o2 sim gets wet the light will come on and a few days later it goes out. I don't worry about it much

The o2 sensor is working I put a new one and still got the code so I switched the sensors side to side and the code stayed on the passenger side. The code stays and I clear it with my scan gauge. If I unhook then re hookup the sensor it will stay off for a couple days and then come back. Once it's cleared it comes back after like 10-15miles of driving.

Are you sure the O2 sim is plugged into the correct banks? I've seen codes come up because the O2 sim was flipped and the drivers side connector was plugged into the passenger side and vice versa. Only think I can think of at the moment, but it's also 1am on New Years.

Haha I feel ya but I am pretty sure it's plugged in correctly otherwise I would think I would be getting a code for both sides. I can always try that though. It's the best idea so far.

Ya problem is you said it happened randomly. Would make more sense if you had just done some exhaust work or something like that.

That's the problem I'm dealing with. Only thing I can think of would be the o2 simulator took a shit but I haven't heard of that happening to anyone else.

If your only getting a code for one bank then just swap the o2 simulator from side to side. If the 02 simulator is bad then the code should switch sides

That's a good idea I will have to try that and see. I use the scangaugeII that I have mounted in my dash for code reading.
