So 749.00 for the kit now and another 200.00 to insure quality coating.

1994 is what it has cost me to get to almost complete race truck suspension status, if that makes you feel any better:dontknow:

I have a dozen or more track days maybe even twenty on mine and no cracks. If they put up with that you should have no issues with street use.

+1 I've been running mine since 2012 - the original version, not the ones with the reinforcement - and have had no issues. Whenever can easily get under the truck (oil change, rotate tires) I'll do a quick visual inspection with the light on my phone to look for cracks or bends. I don't drive my truck much though so that may also come into play (2006 with only 78k).

Hi guys I have another question and I'm posting it here just because it seems like there's a good group of people on this post that has knowledge of lowering kits... so as u know from my recent postings I went with the xii street kit instead of the djm.... I found that my u bolt bolts keeps coming loose. Are the torque specific to different brands or all the same.. what are specific torque specs for the u bolt bots. I tightened mine down to 80lbs... and it's coming loose is that to little? Thank you guys.

I just tightened mine down good and tight, no particular spec, and added a little blue thread lock. Never had any problems.

Good to know. Then my next question is how do you like the truck being lowered ? Do you know the spring rate ? Are you happy with the set up ?
